THE METHOD
Architecture first, lifecycle throughout.
A device programme fails in the gaps: between the schematic and the layout, between the prototype and the line, between the design and the certification it was never scoped for. Twenty-five years of that is what the company is organised around avoiding.
The practical form it takes is that Development, Operation and Sourcing are not separate businesses handing work along. They map onto one gate sequence and overlap across it, which is the only arrangement in which a decision made at concept is still understood at volume.
